Myostatin propeptides

Myostatin propeptides promote muscle and bone regeneration by blocking the activity of recombinant myostatin. Myostatin inhibitors improve wound healing in deep penetrating lesions of muscles and bones.

In the absence of myostatin or in animals that use the inhibitory myostatin active, significantly increase the muscle mass. Furthermore, individuals who have mutated in two copies of the myostatin gene have significantly increased muscle mass and are stronger than normal individuals. Researchers expecte the study of myostatin to play a role in the treatment of muscular dystrophy such as muscular dystrophy.
